The walk from Union Square to the Ferry Building is about 20 minutes down Market Street. Factor in trying to maneuver a pup who wants to sniff everything through a sea of fast-walking downtown workers and tourists on a mission to get somewhere and that walk becomes 40 minutes. The Ferry Building Marketplace unfortunately does not allow dogs inside, but we were able to walk around the outside and enjoy a view of the Bay Bridge and some pretty gorgeous weather.
And with no lizards to chase in the city, Hoku set his heart on a new type of prey: seagulls. Fat, juicy seagulls.
