After the Powell-Mason cable car line dropped us off at Fisherman’s Wharf, we headed over to Aquatic Park and Ghirardelli Square, which has a great view of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. It was a sunny Fall morning and the area was bustling with joggers, families and dog walkers. Hoku loved sniffing around the large grassy areas (it was more grass than he had seen in days) and running up and down the stairs of the amphitheater. There is also a nice, little beach there, which unfortunately isn’t dog-friendly. We didn’t notice the sign and got scolded (oops), but at least not before Hoku got to dip his paws in the ocean.
