Somewhere in Between SoCal and NorCal

The stretch of the I-5 that connects LA to the Bay Area is basically hundreds of miles of flat, dusty land, interspersed with acres of fruit trees and cows, lots and lots of stinky cows. It’s probably the sleepiest part of the entire drive (Hoku snoozed the entire way), but there’s a beauty in the bright, vast openness of the California heartland, don’t you think? Here are some snapshots from that stretch of the trip.
