Aunty Anj flew into town for a visit over Veteran’s Day weekend so we took her to Hoku’s favorite hike, the Cabrillo Tidepools. It was a wonderfully sunny Fall morning and admission was free in honor of Veteran’s Day! Hoku was in the best of moods, running around excitedly, jumping on rocks and smiling from ear to ear.Â
The best part of all…Hoku met a crab for the first time! He was very curious and apprehensive at the same time, sniffing it, trying to paw at it and jumping back at the slightest movement. The humans were amused.
