We stayed in the most picture perfect little cabin with a bright red door. Surrounded by tall trees with a view of the mountains in the distance, it was peaceful and idyllic and the kind of place that makes you want to frolic through the trees singing, “Over the river and through the woods, to grandmother’s house we go…”
Ever the avid explorer, Hoku was right at home in the woods, happily spotting squirrels in the trees and tracking various foresty scents while his people collected pinecones and firewood.
